I don’t know the waiter’s name but he went above and beyond to serve my family with a smile and a wonderful attitude. He really enhanced our dining experience-the food, already amazing by itself, tasted even better with the good mood and good vibes. My family and I were thoroughly pleased and impressed how great of a service we received despite being gaijin. The tonkatsu at Masaru Oppama is absolutely amazing! It is so soft and tender. The service is fast and foreigner friendly. There is an english menu. The atmosphere is family friendly. Highly recommended!

Probably my favorite katsu in Japan. I have been here many times and the food is always excellent. I usually get the Hire-katsu Premium. The staff are always helpful and friendly and the restaurant is cozy and comfortable.

Amazing thick cut pork cutlet and tiger prawn meal set. The cut was delicious, lightly breaded and perfectly cooked, it seemed like it just melted in my mouth. Great spot for lunch or dinner.

It is one of the greatest Japanese pork cutlet I have ever eaten. The pork was juicy and very tender. Rice, cabbage, and miso soup were good and delicious. Reasonable price compared to the quality of food and service.

The Katsu I ordered was beyond tender as the meat melted in my mouth. The food was great, however the service provided was disheartening. You will be lead to your seat abs after receiving your order you would see them chatting about abs not checking up on customers. The amount of rice given with the meal was also very little, the waitress said you could get more rice, but never pointed where and showed signs of impatience. With a better work attitude, this would be a great place to dine for lunch or dinner
